Ah, Raphael-sama, one of the main reasons why my pocketbook is so light. Why do you have to be so expensive, dangnabbit?! Anyway, he and his partner & paramour, Mikael, are my favorite characters from Tenshi ni Narumon. I'm particularly fond of Raph since his arrival also heralded the appearance of the plot!

Despite his outward genki-ness, Raphael is a rather mysterious character. The past mentor to Mikael, he just appears one day to grope poor Mika and move in, making life over all the more interesting. (No really, they are such a cute couple. ) Apparently Raphael is one of the few characters that has a foggy clue about what is truly going on-- but he isn't saying much about it! We don't even know what happened to his other wing since-- SPOILER -- Fuyuki obviously had two wings when he flew away. Rumors abound concerning what could have happened-- although I'm rather partial to my pet theory that he lost a feather as punishment for every ecchi thought. Now with Mikael around he won't have any wing left at all! Hopefully there is canonical answer in either the manga or an art book.

Raphael makes a rather... iiiiiiinteresting angel. I mean, just look at that outfit! *wipes drool away*. He can be sweet and charming-- and I rather prefer him in his serious moods-- but he's also such a flirt and a tease and a distraction to Mikael...

And that's why everyone loves me!

*stalks inside* Raphael-sama! I'm not doing all the work by myself! *whacks Raph over the head with an electric guitar & drags him off, stage right*

Umm, Mikael's gotten a tad bit more aggressive since the series end as you can see...

Darn tootin'! Ack! *gets pulled back*

Anyway, as I was saying, as much as I love the guy, I probably would have stabbed him with a pencil or something if I were in Mikael's shoes.

If you were in Mikael's shoes, then I'd be in your-- *gets choked off by Mikael*

*carefully standing in center of stage ignoring the struggle going on behind her* Umm, yeah, and Raphael cels seem very popular, even among people who've never seen Tenshi ni Narumon! So, unfortunately, this means that this section of my cel collection will be smaller then I would otherwise like. (Although I already have as many Raphael cels as I do Endy-poo! ) As you can tell from my Wanted List, I'm always on the lookout for a good Raphael cel, particularly ones where he's interacting with Mikael.

*giggling rather maniacally as she stands in the shadows* Lucky I made that roll of ultra-super-duper 24 hour film! I shall harness the power of love!

*innocent starry-eyed look* You aren't a haphephobic, are you Mikael?

*sighs* Is that the clinical term for fear of being filmed while being glomphed in public?
