This is the second cel from the naked Mika lot I won off Yahoo Japan. (See the other naked cel for descriptions of the lot itself) It comes from a sequence a few moments ahead of the other cel-- and I just love the contrast between them! Now if only the blanket was a seperate layer... Heh heh heh...

Since this scene doesn't reveal anything about the overall plot, I won't be bothering with spoiler space this time. Both of the Mikael in bed cels come from episode 17, Untying and Tying. Raphael is sitting in the window singing-- singing horribly, terribly off-key...

*singing as above mentioned* Choices... choices... do I have any choices?

AHHH! *tears at hair*

What-- what is that horrible sound?

It's the skirly-whirly shriek come to peck out our bellybuttons and use our toes in jam!

Make it stop!

*watches the various Tenshi ni Narumon characters rush about in a panic* Ano--

*eyetwitch* Shall I?

Oh, please, be my guest!

*with a flash of light an electric guitar appears in his hands* Ahem. *he whacks the guitar over Raphael's head*

Oi... everyone is a critique.

*watches the various Tenshi ni Narumon characters collapse on their faces in relief as she waits for her eardrums to stop oozing out her ears*

Uh, Raphael... don't quit your day job. Please. (Actually, Raph can sing, as demonstrated in episode 25, when he's not too busy tormenting everyone in earshot that is. )

Anyway, where was I? Ah yes-- Raphael was singing away while Mikael was sleeping in the cot nearby. Muse, who has turned herself into a cushion in order to seduce Papa-- don't ask, runs past the window shouting her undying devotion to Eros-sama or something such. Raphael wakes Mikael up to ask him if pillows also take walks in this world.

Mikael is understandably confused until Raphael explains that some strange cushion is wandering around Noelle's place; after which, concerned for Noelle's safety, Mikael leaps up to the rescue and-- and Raphael reminds him that going out just now might not be the best of ideas. Because you see, Raphael has just done the laundry... all of the laundry. Consarnit, Raph, why did you have to remind him?

I couldn't let him do that.

Yeah!

Because as amusing as having him run out the door like that would have been... I'm the only one allowed to see that!

Yeah! Hey, waitaminute...!

Spoilsport! Well, anyway, this cel comes right after Raphael has asked his question about walking pillows and Mikael, having just woken up, is looking sleepily at him and going "Huh? What?". (Maybe Mikael needed to take his ear plugs out to hear properly. ) The other naked cel comes after Mikael remembers that the only thing keeping Tenshi ni Narumon from getting an R rating is that thin sheet.

And below we have the screengrab. Take particular notice of the placement of the sheets and the extra pillow lying besides Mikael. It looks like whatever spat that had Raph sleeping on the clothesline in episode 20 hadn't occured yet. (Maybe it was all the singing that finally did it?)

The cel is B-2 with the missing A-layer being comprised of the bed and extra pillow I'm supposing. Oddly the cel has its registration holes and is numbered on the bottom. The other bed cel was numbered at the top like normal, but I definately know that I don't have this one upside down.

Upside down? You're giving me an idea...
