Anyway, in this episode Mamoru becomes Fish Eye's target, but poor Fishie falls for Mamoru's charms (along with half the male & female cast of Sailor Moon-- poor Usagi!) and tries to seduce him instead of extracting his Dream Mirror. Endy-poo spurns Fish Eye-- after all, he has Usagi and half of the female & male cast.

This cel comes from the scene right after Fish Eye has looked inside Mamoru's mirror (and found Pegasus! Just kidding. But wouldn't that have been interesting? ) and Sailors Moon & Chibi Moon have arrived on the scene. Mamoru is released from his bonds (kinky!) and falls to the ground.

This was the only cel I picked up at my first Otakon. I had been eyeballing a purple-hued Kotori cel from Asylum Anime's table for the entire three day convention but I finally decided to hold out for a better cel of her. (One which has yet to appear.) I caved in and bought this cheapie Mamoru cel though-- I just loved the episode this came from. I also bought my first plushie-- Lantis from Magic Knight Rayearth season 2-- which started a whole new obsession.

I actually scanned the cel upside down. (I like it better that way.) On the screen the cel would have appeared like thus...

The actual cel is two layers, Mamoru himself and his shadow-- both of them marked A-17! Unfortunately rice paper is stuck to both layers. And once again my scanner massacred the colors in this cel.
