Double the pleasure! Double the fun!


I was in the midst of a buying spree (picked up the statue Michiru & Darun cel at the same time) when I stumbled across this cel at Taro's-- and how could I resist two Tamahomes? Even if Tamahome had just beaten up Taka-- this cel shows off his new day-glo outfit so splendidly! ^^; And to avoid spoiling things too much, I shall leave it at that.

This was sold to me as a master set, meaning that the set was supposed to be exactly as it appeared on the screen-- no missing layers or pieces of the background. I wouldn't know myself since this set-up also comes from the OAVs-- how did I end up with so many OAV cels? It includes three layers, the top one-- which I thought was blank at first-- consisting of the tiny slip of a line that is Tamahome's mouth.(And it's C1 too! Woo hoo, key cel of a line!) Tamahome & his shadow(B1) and Taka(A1 end) make up the other two layers.

The set-up also came with a slew of sketches.

First we have the genga draft(?) of Tamahome further in the sequence. Ouch, it looks like he's not done pummelling Taka yet.
