Hee hee hee! These sunglasses let me stare at Usagi's lush derrier without anyone noticing! Oops, did I just say that outloud?

I'm probably going to get pelted with rotten tomatoes (cherry, please!) but... I don't really like the Stars season. It's my least favorite season actually, even more so then SS. (I actually rather liked the Amazon Trio there and the creepy undertone to that season.) I don't really like the style, the design (Sailor Moon's Eternal outfit! And why does the crescent moon look like a lopsided egg now?), the new characters, the underlying tone, and the entire season in general gives me a "been there, done that, liked it better the first time" feeling. The finale is one giant blur to me (it probably doesn't help that I watched it during a 24 hour anime marathon) and-- the unmitigated horror!!!-- it was an entire season without my dear Endy-poo! And we have spoiler warning!
Heh, poor Mamoru can sense when Usagi's in danger but Usagi can't sense when he kicked the bucket? Even the Starlights sensed Tuxedo Kamen's death! My poor Endy-poo!
So why do I have a Seiya cel in my gallery when every time I see him/her/it I boo and hiss (and exaggerate ) and call out "Mamoru-wannabe!"? Well, this cel comes from the big goodbye scene in the airport during episode 173 'Wakare to Deai! Unmei no Hoshiboshi no Ryuuten'. In fact, it takes place only a few seconds past my engagement scene cel. Also the cel was very cheap, one of my cheapest cels in my collection in fact. And I have to admit-- Seiya is damn hot in his black Three Lights outfit with his shades pulled down! So if I'd get any Seiya cel, it would be this one.
I'm going senile so I can't quite remember where I got this... -- and it's not actually the one I ordered. Several cels from this sequence were being sold off for very cheap and after spending alot of time comparing the thumbnails, I chose this cel which showed the most of Seiya and Usagi's back. However, someone else had already ordered the cel so I ended up ordering another cel from the same sequence in its place. The cel dealer experienced a computer crash(?) after I had sent payment and I had to re-identify exactly which cel I was purchasing. (So I pointed out the $300 Princess Serenity... just kidding. ) I, ofcourse, being as brilliant as I am, had thrown out all info regarding the cel order so I really didn't have any foggy idea which particular cel in the sequence I had actually ended up ordering. I just told them to send whatever cel from that sequence was left over, since that one was probably mine. But it turns out that out of all the people who sent in orders for that sequence I was the only one who actually bothered to pay!(I love people who flake out of cels I want to purchase. ) so I ended up being sent the pick of the litter.
The cel is A-10, one layer I believe, with rice paper backing it. I have no idea if the paper is stuck to the cel since the set-up is still sealed inside the bag it came in. The really neat part is that the cel bag has Toei's seal on it (visible in the scan) which is why I never opened it. This is the only cel I have that came with its offically sealed bag. (Although my Evil Tamahome does have a seal sticker stuck on it.)
Included is the matching sketch. Since there is rice paper between the cel and sketch, the douga is probably unstuck but there's no way for me to be certain without breaking Toei's seal on the bag.
